Toy Story Crafts!

Toy Story crafts are always a good choice for children 5+ (maybe older depending on how you rate the movie. There are a few scary parts for young children).

Toy Story is a legendary Disney film that everyone both young and old has enjoyed. No one can say that they don't love Woody, Buzz or even the green toy dinosaur in the film...oh and lets not forget Mr. Potato Head.

So in light of this great film and for the love of the children who enjoy this film why not sit down and have a fun afternoon making Toy Story crafts, something that children can say they made themselves and cherish because it is based on one of their favorite Disney films.

Toy Story Crafts: The Toy Story Potato Head Craft Project...

Now this is a good fun craft for children of all ages, its easy to do and will keep them occupied for a good hour or more.

What you need:

• Disposable card plates
• Paper
• Coloring pens
• Scissors
• Glue
• Pipe Cleaners

Step 2: Making the face

Take your disposable card plate and color it in brown then glue the central face pieces on from the eye brows at the top to the mouth at the bottom, your Mr. Potato head should now be taking shape.

Toy Story Crafts Step 3: Mr. Potato Head hat and ears

Now glue the hat on to the top of the face so the top of the hat actually sits above the plate, once complete repeat this process with the ears putting them either side of the hat and with the ears showing above the end of the plate.

Step 4: Mr. Potato Head hands and feet

Now take a pipe cleaner and cut it in half so your two lengths are 10 centimeters (4 inches) in length and glue them to the back of Mr. Potato Head in the middle so only 5 centimeters (2 inches) shows out of the side of the head. Now you can glue Mr. Potato Heads gloves to the end of the pipe-cleaners and you have his arms and hands.

Take another pipe cleaner and cut two 5 centimeters (2 inches) pieces off it, glue these two pieces at the back of the head at the bottom with around 2.5 centimeters (1 inch) showing. Now glue your shoes onto these pipe cleaner without letting of the pipe cleaner being seen.
